When you call our office, a member of our team will go into detail with you regarding your project. Our goal is to make sure that given the type of project, the scope of work, and urgency that we are a good fit for you. Once it is determined we can meet your needs we will schedule a date and time for our initial on-site consultation.
2. Initial Consultation
Our team-building efforts begin with the first on-site consultation. This consultation will involve discussing your needs and wants for your project. Some clients know exactly what they want and some have no idea. Most clients fall somewhere in the middle. From discussing your needs, wants and ideas a skeleton will be formed as to the basic concept of your project. At the end of the consultation we will review the project to make sure we are on the same page before preparing a bid.
Upon reviewing and researching the project site and the scope of work and materials entailed to complete the project to a high standard, we will provide you with a bid proposal. We will then review your project and the bid proposal with you. During this review process we will address any final questions or concerns you may have so you will be able to make an informed and comfortable decision to partner with Putting on the Fix. Once you feel comfortable in our partnership and approve the submitted proposal, we will confirm a start date and estimated completion date. We will also discuss your payment schedule and initial deposit. Depending on the scope of the project we will also obtain the required permits and send out a good-will letter to your neighbors.
Most of our residential work is done while the client is living at the project site. We want to make sure that throughout the construction process your house will continue to feel like a home and not a construction zone. We will mask/protect your project and thoroughly clean the site at the end of each day. We understand that communication is very important to the success of any project. That is why throughout the project we will partner with you to monitor the accuracy and quality of all the work being performed, and will respond to any of your concerns promptly. We also realize that during the course of the project it may be necessary to change the design or materials. If change requests are made by you throughout the project we will provide, in writing, the change in cost and time before a change is implemented.
Upon completion of your project we will conduct a final walk-through and review all the work that has been done. The project manager will provide a check list to confirm we have completed the project in full. The project manager will also provide you with any necessary warranty and product instruction information. We love what we do and we hope that you love your experience in working along with us. We will ask you to complete a short customer satisfaction survey. The questions and answers allow us to continue to work to exceed our customer expectations and we genuinely want to know how you felt we performed. Many of our new clients come to us by way of our past clients who were happy with their experience with Putting on the Fix. We would appreciate you spreading your appreciation onto your friends and family so that we may add them to our family of satisfied customers.
